Does the snow accumulate?
No it does not. The Snow created by Wintertime Whimsy is designed for atmospheric entertainment. It does not accumulate on the ground.
Will the Snow stain clothing?
No. The solution used for snow making is clear and stain free.
Can you make it snow inside?
For Best results, a wide-open space with good airflow is preferred. If your location has a large lobby or atrium, it may work inside. Please ask for a risk-free consultation to obtain the best answer.
Can the real weather affect the snow making?
Yes. Strong winds, rain and actual snow can affect the snow creation process. On the day of your event, our team will be there to ensure everything runs smoothly. We will handle all of the logistics and details, so you can relax and enjoy your special day.
What type of snowmaking equipment is used?
A pump with a pressure blower is used to create the snowflakes. Non-toxic and biofree hazard solution is used in the snowflake creation. Air movers may also be used based on the location.
Are cold temperatures required for the snow making experience?
No. Because water is not used in the making of the snow, freezing temperatures are not required. In fact, the snow can be made year round, even in the Summer.
Is Water needed to make the snow?
No. Water is not used to make the snow. Only a standard electrical outlet is needed for the magical experience to happen.
What factors affect the cost of snowmaking services?
Size of the area, length of the service, type of event and travel distances.
Is snowmaking safe?
Yes, proper safety precautions are taken around equipment and snowmaking areas.
What is the Duration of the Snowfall?
The nice thing about the services offered by Wintertime Whimsy is that everything is customizable. If you only need 30 minutes of snowfall for a cocktail party or as guests arrive to your event, that can be arranged. If you needed a day long event that can also be arranged.
What is the Clean-up Process?
Because the snow will evaporate before it reaches the ground, it will not accumulate. In turn, no clean-up is needed. After the snowmaking experience is completed, the equipment used to create the snow is transported offsite by the trained staff of Wintertime Whimsy.
